Sounding Art Press is a vibrant new publishing company, a private press founded in 2007 by Jane Mackay and Andrew Plant. It is an exciting collaboration between an artist who is also a former G.P. with a pianist who is also an academic. The Press is dedicated to the promotion and dissemination of art, music and literature through cross-disciplinary exploration and scholarship, leading to the publication of fine, innovative and beautiful limited editions produced to the highest standards.
We have formed professional partnerships with expert designers, photographers and printing houses, notably Richard Adams Associates and Rodney Todd White & Son. Our publications are produced on conservation-quality materials with a strong regard for sustainable resources. The Press is based in London but distributes worldwide and offers a personal and highly efficient service.
